![]() This is true for the vast majority of other settlements throughout the map - and there’s a mind-boggling 49 of them - much more than past expansions. Immediately, I noticed the density and great detail of the buildings and overall infrastructure. They say first impressions are everything, and this introduction was concluded quite nicely when coming upon the first settlement of Bilbao. Soon, I was rolling through the Spanish countryside of the northwestern region of Spain, admiring the sheer beauty of it all. The foliage began to vary, the topography became more mountainous, and road networks became more intricate. The immediate transition between the two countries was far more subtle than I was expecting, but the changes quickly started to become apparent. I headed southwest past the newly added city of Bayonne, and then across the border. ![]() My journey began by picking up a job in Toulouse, France. So, anyone can experience this great new map - and it surely is worth it. Alternatively, you can also come in from the east by means of Italy. You can sail to the northwestern shores of Spain by means of a ferry from the UK. Oh, and it’s important to mention that you don’t need the Vive la France! expansion in order to access the Iberian peninsula. Despite Euro Truck Simulator 2‘s advancing age, this expansion - combined with the recent graphical overhaul in update 1.40 - makes this something that any truck sim fan needs to enjoy for themselves in order to get the full sense of what I’m about to describe. This is, without any sort of hyperbole, just about the best expansion the studio has put out yet. That said, I wasn’t quite prepared for the experience that Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Iberia has to offer. You would think that after all this time, anything new would trigger just a tiny happy response from someone like me. I’ve been a fan of its products since childhood. So in short, these sale prices are probably lower than even the new prices Bungie is about to come up with, and yes there is a reason to actually buy Forsaken, even if part of it is going free for three months before it’s deleted. And Bungie is also selling the 30th Anniversary bundle, a new dungeon and a bunch of gear, for $25, or rolled up into the $100 Everything In Year Five Witch Queen bundle. So the non-sale prices of $40, $25 and $25 could drop to say, $25 for Beyond Light, $15-20 for Shadowkeep and $10-15 for the Forsaken Pack, if I had to guess. We also have to keep in mind that Bungie has said they will redesign the price structure of past DLCs pretty soon here. I would probably prioritize Beyond Light if you want to be “current” with the game, as Stasis alone is a ton of fun (I maintain Stasis should just be given to everyone at this point, but that’s not how it works). I enjoyed the campaign, and Deep Stone Crypt is arguably one of the game’s best raids. No aspect of Beyond Light seems destined to be vaulted any time soon so it’s a safe bet as the newest DLC. Beyond Light for $20 may be worth it just for access to Stasis alone, as it’s the only way you can get that entire subclass.
